Bright Futures - Foundations
The Foundations program, directed by Alexis Spence, BCBA, provides early intervention services to children on the autism spectrum, typically up to age six. The program helps young children achieve the beginning skills required for learning with an emphasis on developing social, play, communication, self-help, and pre-academic skills with an emphasis on naturalistic teaching. Our team of dedicated practitioners helps children achieve therapy goals through a mix of age-appropriate play-based activities and highly structured clinician-directed learning opportunities. Most instruction is provided one-on-one by a behavior technician though some goals may be targeted through small group activities when appropriate. We place a heavy emphasis on family involvement, and we partner with parents/caregivers to achieve mutually agreed-upon goals. We also support families in implementing effective behavior management strategies and monitoring progress at home and in the community through regular parent coaching sessions (minimum monthly) that are tailored to the needs of your child and your family.

The Foundations program provides services Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and our clinic is located at 2631 State Rt 34, Winfield, WV 25213.
