Bright Futures - McCoy Academy

McCoy Academy serves children typically between the ages of six to eleven who have been diagnosed with level two or three autism spectrum disorder. Our year-round comprehensive program utilizes Precision Teaching and fluency-based instruction to establish and improve component skills to help children transfer skills to the natural environment. McCoy Academy targets skill acquisition goals in areas such as behavioral flexibility, language & communication, social interaction, functional academics, daily living, and independence. Most instruction is provided one-on-one by a behavior technician with some goals targeted through small group teaching. In addition, our McCoy Academy team provides in-home and community-based services on a case-by-case basis typically as part of parent coaching or transition planning.

McCoy Academy provides services Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is located at 3361 Teays Valley Rd, Hurricane, WV 25526.
